  CIM Based Integration Services for Smart Grid Implementation:  The IEC Common Information Model (CIM) is a powerful tool for developing model-driven web services using the IEC 61970 and IEC 61968 standards that lowers costs and improves interoperability. SISCO provides consulting and systems integration services that help you to effectively use the CIM for your control center and SmartGrid integration projects.
  IEC 61850 Substation Automation Networking:   The IEC61850 standard providesa real-time object-oriented communications infrastructure for substation automation in distribution, transmission, and generation applications.
  Inter-control Center Communications Protocol (ICCP - IEC 60870-6 TASE.2):  ICCP-TASE.2 is an internationally accepted standard for the exchange of real-time data in energy utilities for control center integration and power plant dispatching per IEC60870-6.
  Utility Integration Bus (UIB): Model-driven standards based extensions to middleware that brings the benefits of enterprise application integration (EAI) to utility operations applications using EPRI's Common Information Model (CIM), Generic Interface Definition (GID), IEC 61970, IEC 61968, OMG, and OPC standards.
  Unified Analytic Platform for the OSIsoft PI System is a platform for analytic processing and calculations on real-time data streams for wide area centralized remedial action systems (C-RAS), synchrophasor processing for wide area measurement systems (WAMS) to improve situational awareness, and other applications for time critical systems.

NewSISCO has released the new AX-S4 ICCP ("Access for ICCP") V5.0000. This is a version upgrade from V4.0059 and includes support for new operating systems.

SISCO and Cisco Systems are cooperating on an open source implementation of IEC 61850-90-5 for using GOOSE and sampled value messaging over IP Multicast for wide area applications. See the release.


An updated analyzer for WireShark (without C37.118 and GSSE support) is available for download. Supports IEC 61850 (8-1, GOOSE and 9-2), MMS and ICCP-TASE.2.


The original Etherreal analyzer that supports 61850 (including GSSE), MMS, ICCP-TASE.2, and C37.118 analyzer is still available for download.
