  IEC 61850 Substation Automation Networking:   The IEC61850 standard provides a real-time object-oriented communications infrastructure for substation automation in distribution, transmission, and generation applications.
  Inter-control Center Communications Protocol (ICCP - IEC 60870-6 TASE.2):  ICCP-TASE.2 is an internationally accepted standard for the exchange of real-time data in energy utilities for control center integration and power plant dispatching per IEC60870-6.
  Utility Integration Bus (UIB): Model-driven standards based extensions to middleware that brings the benefits of enterprise application integration (EAI) to utility operations applications using EPRI's Common Information Model (CIM), Generic Interface Definition (GID), IEC 61970, IEC 61968, OMG, and OPC standards.
  Unified Analytic Platform for the OSIsoft PI System for implementing wide area centralized remedial action systems (C-RAS) and other appliations requiring analytic processing and calculation on real-time data streams for time critical systems.

  Products for the OSIsoft PI System bring support of important industry standards to the OSIsoft PI family of products for real-time performance management in the enterprise.
  Manufacturing Message Specification (MMS): MMS is an international standard for real-time client/server communications per the ISO 9506 standard. Used in power system automation, industrial control, and material handling for postal automation.



NewA new release of AX-S4 MMS (V5.1005) is now available for download with improved  support for IEC 61850 controls including command termination (enhanced security) and automated control via OPC.


SISCO will be exhibiting in at the CIM Users Group Meeting on May 12-18, 2009
in Genval, Brussels.


New SISCO will be attending the WINDPOWER 2009 Conference with a partner pedestal display in Booth 1091 with OSIsoft on May 4-7, 2009 in Chicago, IL USA. Demonstrations of IEC 61400-25, IEC 61850 and CIM (IEC 61970) applications for wind energy will be the focus.


New SISCO will be attending the PowerGrid Europe conference and exhibition with our European partner, AMA-Systems in Booth G72 on 26-28 May, 2009 in Köln, Germany. Demonstrations of IEC 61400-25, IEC 61850 and CIM (IEC 61970) applications for wind energy will be the focus.


SISCO will be exhibiting at the SIEF 2009 - IEEE PES T&D Asia Conference and Exposition on 26-30 October, 2009 in Seoul, Korea.



A free IEC 61850, MMS, C37.118, and ICCP-TASE.2 analyzer  is available for download.
